The Onga Onga Primary School is a dynamic, contemporary educational community situated within Central Hawkes Bays foremost historic village.
Onga Onga Primary School was officially established in 1875.
A strong sense of community exists within the school. The community is proud of the school and its reputation for achievement and citizenship. The School Board of Trustees and School Support Group play a critical role in the development of policy and directions.
We are proud of our achievements and continue to strive for ongoing improvement.
The school serves the town and the surrounding farming community. Many children walk or ride bikes to school. Our school is well served by regular bus services.

Onga Onga Primary Schools educational setting is based around 6 classrooms, set on spacious grounds in a park like environment.
